Starting a new chapter

On the first day of the new year, Karama Organization started a new beginning. During the first board meeting of the year, the contract with the European Union was officially discussed and voted on by Karama's board of directors. Upon everybody's approval, the contract was signed and a new chapter was started. 

All board members agreed on the benefits of that the project could bring not only to Deheishe, but to more refugee communities all over the West Bank. The selection procedure, own financial contribution for Karama and hiring of new staff members were all discussed during the meeting. The board trusted director Yasser with the formation of the project management team. The board was informed that the project will official start on 01/02/2017 after transfer of the first payment from the EU's side. All members wished the new project team the best of luck and are looking forward to the first results!
